Hardin-Simmons University

Nielsen is In her ninth season at Hardin-Simmons. She served two years as a graduate assistant and is in her seventh year as an assistant athletic trainer. 

She works with the men's and women's soccer, cross country and track programs.

Previously, she worked with the football team, women’s gymnastics, and women’s soccer as an undergrad at Iowa State.

She is a member of the Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association.and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Received her master's degree in kinesiology, sport and recreation from HSU and has a bachelor's of science in athletic training and pre-physical therapy from Iowa State. She is a native of Humboldt, Iowa and her birthday is Dec. 19.
