WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team lost 8-1 to Whitman College on Monday afternoon in Walla Walla, Wash.
Senior Jennifer Cheung was the only Cowgirl to come away with a win as she beat Emily Rolston, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
The Cowgirls are now 6-3 on the year and Whitman improved to 7-4. HSU will play again at 8 CST against George Fox and then will play Willamette and Linfield on Tuesday. HSU is 3-1 on the spring break trip after wins over Occidental, Austin College and Hendrix to start the trip.
