The Cowboys increased the 1-0 halftime lead with a big throw from J.J. Sissen off the head of Winneker for a header for goal from Jakob Fiol to make it 2-0 in the 61st minute.

Abilene's own freshman Andres Munoz finessed the keeper for his first career Cowboy goal with an assist from Omar Estrada to push it to 3-0 in the 73rd minute. Estrada would earn a penalty kick for HSU and find the back of the net for the fourth Cowboy goal in the 74th minute to seal the deal at 4-0.
