SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy basketball team traveled to San Antonio and won 83-72 against the Colorado College Tigers on Saturday hosted by Trinity.
Senior
Will Bartoszek scored 36 points for a new career-high for the Cowboys, shooting 12-22 and making 10 free throws. He added seven rebounds and four steals in the win.
The Cowboys trailed 37-33 at the half but had a big second half scoring 50 points in the 83-72 win. Hardin-Simmons shot 29-64 in the game for 45%.
Two other Cowboys were in double figures,
Jalen McGee with 14 and
Austin Brewer with 12 points. Brewer tied the team lead in rebounding with seven.
Silas Livingston led the team with five assists.
The Cowboys improve to 3-1 on the year and will finish the trip to San Antonio with a game against Trinity on Sunday at 3 p.m.
