SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy basketball team dropped a game to the Trinity Tigers 82-62 on Sunday on the road in San Antonio.
The Cowboys were down 38-27 at the half and couldn't overcome the deficit, falling 82-62 for the final score. The Cowboys shot 37% on the day going 24-64 from the field.
Jalen McGee led the Cowboys with 14 points.
Austin Brewer led the team in rebounds with five and
Silas Livingston had six assists to lead Hardin-Simmons.
The Cowboys fall to 3-2 on the season and will start American Southwest Conference play with a trip to LeTourneau on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
