BEVERLY, Mass. - Hardin-Simmons' football team fell 37-10 to Endicott in non-conference action Friday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Neither team scored until Endicott's Ryan Smith hit a 28-yard field goal with :26 to play in the first quarter. Shane Aylward then scored on 12 and 51 yard-passes from Clayton Marengi to push the lead to 17-3.

Grayson Bearden put the Cowboys on the board late in the first half with a 23-yard field goal to make the game 17-3 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Endicott turned the Cowboys over three times and scored touchdowns on all three ensuing possessions to push the lead out to 37-3 at the end of the third quarter.

A.J. Hawkins scored on a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter for the Cowboys to make it a 37-10 final score Friday night.

The Cowboys had 267 yards of total offense with 176 coming on the ground.
Noah Garcia rushed for 75 yards to lead HSU. Hardin-Simmons went 6 of 17 on third down conversions and had a fourth down conversion while also scoring on both trips to the red zone. Â

HSU is now 2-1 on the season Endicott improved to 3-1. HSU opens conference play on Saturday when it hosts Howard Payne next week.
