BELTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl volleyball team went down to the Mary Hardin-Baylor Cru in straight sets on Friday night at Belton in American Southwest Conference action.
The Cru took the match with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-21 on the night. The Cowgirls hit .147 with 41 kills to .234 and 41 kills for UMHB.
Freshman
Rachel Nordt led the Cowgirl team with 12 kills.
Liz Underwood had ten kills on the night.
Keatyn Rodgers led the team with 26 assists and
Kat Martinez led with ten digs in the game.
The Cowgirls fall to 6-5 and 1-1 in conference play and will stay on the road to play at Concordia (Tex.) Saturday at 1 p.m. in Round Rock for another ASC match.
