HOUSTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team fell in a game against the No. 10 St. Thomas (Tex.) Celts on Sunday, traveling to play at the Houston Sports Park.
The nationally ranked Celts took the game 5-0 over the Cowboys. Hardin-Simmons took nine shots in the match with six shots on goal to 14 shots and nine on goal for St. Thomas.
The Cowboys led with six corner kicks to five from the opposition.
Reid Applewhite started at keeper with four saves in the game.
The Cowboys fall to 0-4-3 this year and will play next at home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against Dallas Christian College at the HSU Soccer Complex.
