RICHARDSON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team dropped a non-conference match to the UTD Comets 2-0 on Thursday night on the road.
The Cowboys held down the fort for a scoreless tie against the Comets until the 69
th minute when they went down 1-0. HSU dropped by a final score of 2-0 on the night.
Griffin Cardwell had a season-high eight saves for the Cowboys at goalkeeper in the loss.
Hardin-Simmons falls to 9-4-2 and will travel to UMHB on Saturday night to take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. in Belton, Texas.
