BELTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team fell 2-0 to the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders on Saturday night in American Southwest Conference play on the road.
The Crusaders scored in the 25
th and 61
st minutes and HSU was unable to push any goals across to end in a 2-0 defeat at UMHB.
The Cowboys shot the ball 11 times with seven shots on goal to 12 shots and seven shots on goal from the Crusaders. Hardin-Simmons led with four corner kicks to one allowed.
Carson Null started at goalkeeper for the Cowboys and had five saves in the loss.
Hardin-Simmons falls to 9-5-2 on the season and 5-2 in the American Southwest Conference with a final conference game remaining, at Howard Payne next Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
