BROWNWOOD, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team ended the regular season with a win 1-0 at Howard Payne on Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference play.
 
Senior Cowboy Dylan Caudle scored his first goal of the year for the game-winner in the 1-0 win at Howard Payne. Caudel was assisted by Jack Sissen in the 61^st minute for the Cowboys.
 
Hardin-Simmons shot the ball 12 times with eight shots on goal and led with nine corner kicks in the match-up.
 
Carson Null started at goalkeeper for the Cowboys and got the shutout win with four saves for HSU.
 
The Cowboys improve to 10-5-2 and 6-2 in the ASC and will head to the ASC championship tournament, beginning on Nov. 7 at the HSU Soccer Complex.
