ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team went down 9-0 to the Division II Dallas Baptist Patriots out of the Lone Star on Friday afternoon at the Streich Tennis Center at home.
 
Laurel Coleman and Jonnah Smith each took a pair of games in each set playing up a division in defeats at one and three singles, respectively.
 
Brenna Gordon forced a 12^th game in her first set, falling 7-5, 6-1 to Hudson at No. 2 singles for the Cowgirls. Addyson Tylaska won four of her games in the second set in a 6-0, 6-4 loss to Teran at No. 5 singles.
 
The Cowgirls drop to 1-4 and will host Texas Wesleyan on Saturday at 11 a.m. and University of Dallas at 4 p.m. to follow.
