ABILENE, Texas – Hayden Philpot was named a second-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association and seven Cowboy football players were named to the D3football.com All-Region 3 team, which was announced on Wednesday.
Philpot, a senior from Decatur, was named to the All-American team after being named the ASC offensive lineman of the year and earning first-team All-ASC honors.

Pedro Altamirano, junior lineback
Kaiden Roden and junior safety
Harrison Foster were named first-team All-Region 3.
Philpot and senior quarterback
Kyle Brown were named to the second team and junior defensive lineman
Caden Sampson-Stuckey was named to the third team.
The Cowboys went 9-2 in 2025 and won their third straight American Southwest Conference title.
