NEWBERG, Ore. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team lost the final game of a weekend trip to Oregon falling 6-1 to the George Fox Bruins on Saturday.
The Cowgirls got a lone win from
Triniti McBride on the day against the Bruins. McBride won the sixth flight of singles convincingly 6-1, 6-1 against Abigail Bond of George Fox.
Laurel Coleman dropped a split set for the Cowgirls, falling 3-6, 6-1, 1-6 in the first flight of singles against the Bruins.
The Cowgirl team falls to 6-9 and will return to Abilene with a weekend off of competition before hosting Southwestern and Concordia on April 11 and 12 at the Streich Tennis Center.
