ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy tennis team fell 5-2 to the Concordia Tornados in a dual match on Saturday afternoon at the Streich Tennis Center.
 
Hardin-Simmons took one of three doubles matches and lost the point. Brandon Curiel and Nick Boquet defeated Concordia 6-4 in the third doubles match.
 
Boquet and Curiel each won their second match of the day in singles competition for the two Cowboy points of the match.
 
Boquet won the third singles match on a 5-7, 7-6 opponent retirement. Curiel defeated the Tornados 6-3, 6-3 in the fifth singles match for the Cowboys.
 
Hardin-Simmons fell to 7-12 on the season and will play next at UMHB on April 17 for an ASC match in Belton at 2 p.m.
