ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team dropped a dual match 4-3 to the Concordia University Tornados on Saturday playing at the Streich Tennis Center at home.
Hardin-Simmons took the doubles point with two of three doubles wins. They finished with two more wins in the singles competition.
Taylor Levy and
Sydney Tomlin won the second doubles match 7-6(7-5) in a tiebreaker over the Tornados.
Triniti McBride and
Addyson Tylaska won the third doubles match for the Cowgirls 6-2.
Jonnah Smith won on a retirement against Concordia in the third singles match and
Emma Curiel had a Cowgirl win in a split fifth singles match 6-3, 6-7(1-7), 1-0(10-4).
The Cowgirls are now 6-11 on the spring season and will play an ASC match on April 17 on the road at Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton at 2 p.m.
