BALTIMORE, Md. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl volleyball team won 3-0 against Colby-Sawyer on Saturday to finish the weekend at the Johns Hopkins Invitational.
The Cowgirls won the sweep with sets of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-14. HSU hit .312 with 40 kills in 93 attacks and finished with five service aces and five blocks against Colby-Sawyer. Hardin-Simmons had the full team effort in the win with 16 different Cowgirls making an appearance in the win.
Molly O'Shaughnessy led the offense with eight kills for the Cowgirls.
Allison O'Shaughnessy finished with 15 assists to lead Hardin-Simmons in the category.

Allison O'Shaughnessy tied for the Cowgirl lead in digs with five each in a short day on defense in the sweep.
The Cowgirls improved to 5-2 on Saturday with the win and will return to Texas to take on Schreiner, LeTourneau, Methodist, and Alverno next weekend at the UMHB tournament in Belton, Texas beginning Thursday at 2 p.m.
