ABILENE, Texas – Eight Hardin-Simmons football players have been named to the College Sports Communicators all-district teams selected by the CSC and five were selected to be on the All-American ballot.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
A select committee advances the top candidates from the all-district selections and the student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 27, 2026.

Harrison Foster,
Kyle Brown,
Kaiden Roden and
Jaxon Lunsford were named to the all-district and picked for the All-American ballot.
Cade Smillie,
Jeremiah Richard and
Lucas Ragsdale were also selected for the all-district team.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
