AUSTIN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team went down 5-2 in a duals tennis match of Saturday afternoon against the Concordia Tornados at the River Place Country Club of Austin.
 
Allie Dunn wo the second flight of singles for the Cowgirls with a 7-6, 6-2 win over Valerie Sanchez.
 
Emma Curiel won the second point for the Cowgirls on the day, taking a split-set win in the fourth flight of singles. Curiel defeated Aria Moreni 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 in the comeback win.
 
The Cowgirls dropped to 2-3 on the season and will play at Southwestern on Sunday at 9 a.m. in Georgetown, Texas.
