Biography

2015 Team captain
Set the school record with a 41-inch vertical leap in the spring.  

2014: Played all nine games and started three. Had two catches for 38 yards. Also had four special teams tackles. Named academic all-ASC. 2013: Played on special teams and at tight end. Had eight catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Also returned nine kicks for 115 yards. Named academic all-ASC. 2012: Played on the developmental squad. High School: Had a great senior season for Levelland High and Coach Gary Gutierrez, a former Cowboy All-American.  He was an academic all-state and honorable mention all-district quarterback.  He is the son of Doug and Jonna Runkles.  He has a sister named Elli. He is an economics and finance major. Born Feb. 3, 1994.
