2012: Averaged 9.5 points per game as the Cowboys’ top scorer of the bench. Had 12 double-digit scoring efforts. Will set the HSU record for made 3-pointers with his first make of the 2012-13 season. Had 21 points with five 3-pointers in a win over Sul Ross State and hit six 3-pointers in games against LeTourneau and Schreiner. Hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the ASC semifinals against Texas-Dallas. Made 68 3-pointers and shot a career-best 39.5 percent from behind the arc. Had a career-best 50 rebounds on the year. 2011: Averaged 8.6 points per game for the Cowboys coming off the bench in his sophomore season.  He led the team in 3-pointers made and attempted. Had a season high in points and 3-pointers made at Schreiner with 26 points and seven trifectas. Also had a season high in rebounds with five on three different occasions. 2010: Averaged 11.8 points per game and made 70 3-pointers in his freshman season. The 70 3-pointers were the fourth-most in school history.  He hit four or more 3-pointers 10 times in a game with a high of seven at TLU. Was named to the ASC West all-freshman team. Had a season-high 29 points against Texas Lutheran. High School: Was a two-time all-region selection and a two-time district 6-4A MVP at Azle High School. Personal: Son of John and Samantha Derr.
