Wells is a junior from Pflugerville, Texas. He won the HSU Invitational in the pole vault last season. He went to Hendrickson High School where he was an academic all-state selection for coach Chip Killeen.  He is the son of Shaun and Tia Wells.  Has one sister, Emily.  Speech Pathology Major. Born Dec. 26, 1993.
