Martin is in his fourth season as a full-time member of the Hardin-Simmons football staff.
He coaches the wide receivers for HSU and the Cowboy wide receivers have been among the best in the conference.
Served as a graduate assistant at HSU.

Martin was a four-year letterman and played in 41 games for the Cowboys from 2013 to 2016.
He was a team captain as a senior.
He was a two-time All-ASC selection and had 101 catches in his career.
He was also an academic All-ASC selection three times.
He played his high school ball at Abilene Wylie and comes from an HSU family.

Both of his parents are HSU grads and his brother Gatlin played for the Cowboys as well.
He also has two step-sisters who played soccer at HSU.
His dad, Clay, is a member of the HSU Athletic Hall of Fame.
He has a bachelor's degree in social studies.
Has a master's degree in kinesiology.
Married Maddie McAdams in the summer of 2021.
Has an infant son, Tommy Clay.
