Biography

Named 2015 team captain. 

2014: Named first-team all-ASC after a steallar season. He had 62 tackles, including 11.5 for loss and six sacks. He had four more sacks against Southwestern that did not count after the game was canceled by weather. Had 12 tackles against TLU. Had 2.5 tackles for loss a sack and 10 tackles against UMHB. Returned a fumble 97 yards for a TD against Wayland Baptist. Named a team captain. 2013: Started all 10 games and had 52 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks. Also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, blocked a kick and had three interceptions.  2012: Started all 10 games at defensive end and had 48 tackles, including 9.5 for losses and 4.5 sacks. Had two sacks at Mary Hardin-Baylor. Broke up six passes. Had 10 tackles, including three for losses and a sack against Louisiana College. Transferred to HSU from Texas Lutheran. Was a first-team all-district and academic all-district selection at Georgetown High School. Personal: Son of Christina Rothardt and Phil Lewis.
