AUSTIN, Texas – Concordia rallied from a 11-point halftime deficit to beat Hardin-Simmons 110-101 in American Southwest Conference men's basketball action on Thursday evening in Austin.

The Cowboys took early control with some hot shooting and led 58-47 at halftime. The second-half Concordia exploded by hitting 24-of-37 shots in the half and rallied for the win.

HSU led 94-87 with 5:19 to play in the game but the Tornados went on a 17-4 run over the next three minutes and surged by the Cowboys for the win. Concordia shot 54.4 percent in the game and the Cowboys shot 44.3 percent.

The Cowboys turned the ball over 17 times in the game that Concordia turned into 23 points and Concordia dominated in the paint with a 56-36 advantage in the paint.

Dashun Dixon led five Cowboys in double figures with 21 points. Christian O'Neal had 20, Cameron Barnes scored 16, Caleb Spoon had 14 and Nathaniel Jack scored 10.

Ben Page led six Concordia players in double figures with 20 points. Donovan Ford had 19 points, Clay Marley added 15, Josh Samuels scored 14, Demarco Richardson had 13 and Rashad Coleman 12.  

The Cowboys are now 15-9 on the year and 8-5 in conference play. Concordia improved to 13-10 overall and 7-6 in ASC action. HSU will close the regular season at Mary Hardin-Baylor. HSU has never won a game in Belton against the Cru.
