ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's basketball team had three players named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) academic all-district team.

Each school can nominate up to four players and the selections will go on to the ballot for Academic All-American. The CSC academic program is the longest-standing and most prestigious academic team in the nation. It takes into account athletic role on the team and ability, academic success and community service.

Jared Bomer (3.58, Business), Austin Brewer (4.0, Math Education) and Aidan Walsh (3.61, Sport Management) were all three named to the team.

They are also all key parts of the Cowboys' team that is 17-8 and will play in the ASC Tournament starting tonight.
