A Cowboy Win Would
?Be the 513th in school history.
?Be just the fourth home win against a ranked non-conference foe since 2003.
?Push the home winning streak to 10 straight games, which is the second-longest in the state of Texas among colleges. UT has a 11-game home streak.Â
Â
Rare Ranked Home Game
Saturday's game is a rarity for the Cowboys. Getting good teams to come to Abilene non-conference is a difficult proposition. Since 2003 (the first year of the D3football.com poll), HSU has only played four ranked non-conference games at home. HSU is 3-1 in those games. HSU beat No. 11 Linfield, 21-6, in 2006, beat No. 13 Willamette, 31-22 in 2010 and beat No. 10 Coe, 41-14 in 2011. That was
Jesse Burleson's first game as the Cowboys' head coach. The only loss was a 71-21 game to No. 4 Linfield in 2013.

About Endicott
The Gulls have been one of the top teams in Region 1 for the last several years.
