Biography

Expected to be one of the Cowboys’ top playmakers on defense. 2010: Started the first five games of the year. Had 28 tackles on the year and had 10 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, both which were second on the team. Had six tackles, three for loss and two sacks in the win over McMurry. Named honorable mention all-ASC, academic all-ASC and CoSIDA academic all-district. 2009: Started all 10 games at defensive end for the Cowboys. Recorded 39 tackles, including nine for loss. He had 4.5 sacks, including three in the final four games. Had a career-best nine tackles and a sack in the win over Whitworth. Named academic all-ASC. 2008: Missed most of the season with a broken foot, but had a huge impact down the stretch. He had seven tackles, including 2.5 for losses in the three games he played. Had four tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in his first game against Sul Ross State. 2007: Redshirted at West Texas A&M. High School: Was an all-state selection and district defensive MVP at Abilene High School for head coach Steve Warren. Personal: Son of Gary and Linda Hardin. Has a sister, Tiffany.
