2012: Was named a second-team all-region selection byD3football.com after setting the HSU single-season punting recordwith a 42.4 yard average. He was second in the nation in punting.Also played in all 10 games on special teams and in the secondaryat safety and corner. Recorded 28 tackles and had an interception.Named first-team all-ASC. 2011: Started two games at safetyand had eight tackles. Also was one of the top punters in theASC averaging 39.3 yards per punt, which ranked fourth in theleague. 2010: Abbott one a preseason battle to be the punterand he showed why he won the job in his first game at Whitworthlast season. He turned over a 70-yard punt in his first kick andlater added a 61-yarder. For the year he averaged 38.6 yards on 27punts. He had four 50+ yard boots and had five inside the 20.
