Expected to be one of the top defensive players in the conference from his bandit position. 2010: Recorded 53 tackles, had 3.5 tackles for loss and a team-best three interceptions. Was second on the team with seven pass breakups. Had a career-best 12 tackles in the UMHB game. Had 11 tackles in a win over Mississippi College. Had seven tackles, broke up a pass and had a tackle for loss in the Whitworth game. Had an interception in each of the last two games of the year. Named first-team all-ASC and was also an academic all-ASC selection. 2009: Started nine games and played in all 10 for the Cowboys at safety in his first season with the Cowboys after transferring from Abilene Christian. Had 36 tackles on the year, including 24 solo tackles, which was third on the team. He also had an interception that he returned 25 yards against Texas Lutheran. He also recovered two fumbles and broke up a pass. High School: was a first-team all-state quarterback and defensive back at Concordia Lutheran High School. He played for his father, Bruce at Concordia. Personal: Son of Bruce and Suzanne Christian. Bruce was a safety at Texas Lutheran and Suzanne was a volleyball player at TLU. Both were all-conference selections. Has a brother, Josh who plays quarterback for HSU. Is an exercise science major. Born Dec. 22, 1988.
