Biography

Expected to anchor the Cowboy defense at middle linebacker. 2010: Burst on the scene with nine tackles in his debut at Whitworth. He had a career-best 11 tackles in the win over East Texas Baptist. Became the first freshman to lead the Cowboys in tackles. Had 72 tackles, 3.5 for loss and one sack. Named honorable mention all-ASC. High School: Was a standout player for Liberty. Personal: Son of Larry and Ruby Saunders. Has a brother, Matt and a sister, Sydney. Political Science major. Born October 23, 1992.
