Finally healthy again Rockwell is expected to provide a solid 1-2 punch with Derrick Grant at running back. 2010: Battled through injuries to record 304 yards and four touchdowns. Went into the season as the starter at running back. Had season-high 92 yards on 17 carries in the opener against Whitworth. Had two TDs in both Mississippi College and Mary Hardin-Baylor games. 2009: Was named first-team all-ASC after rushing for 711 yards and five touchdowns. Had three 100-yard games. Had 116 yards and a touchdown against Mississippi College, ran for 133 yards and two scores against Texas Lutheran and had 160 yards and a touchdown on a career-best 24 carries against McMurry. Had three receptions for 47 yards. 2008: Stepped right into an immediate role for the Cowboys as a freshman running back. He was the Cowboys’ starter in the season opener. He had 440 yards and four touchdowns on the year. Against Howard Payne he rushed for 178 yards on 16 carries and three touchdowns. Also caught five passes for 78 yards. High School: Was a first-team all-district selection as a running back and linebacker at Ore City High School and was the defensive MVP. Was named all-East Texas.
