Box Score MARSHALL, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' softball fell 8-0 in a five-inning run rule to No. 3 East Texas Baptist on Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference action in Marshall.
Kelly Jo McLendon tossed a no-hitter for the Tigers. She walked one and struck out six.
Lara Ammermann started and allowed three earned runs in the first inning. Genia Jones relieved her and allowed five runs on six hits in four and two-third innings.
ETBU was paced offensively by Jayme Perez who had a pair of home runs with three hits and four RBIs.
