MARSHALL, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team went down 1-0 at East Texas Baptist in Thursday night's American Southwest Conference match.
The game's only goal was scored by the Tiger's Travis Floyd on a header off a Max Ponticorvo corner kick in the 17th minute of the game.
The Cowboys had seven shots in the contest with three on frame. The Tigers shot nine times with only two on goal.
Trent Ivy had one save on the night, while ETBU's keeper Bryant Botello had three saves in the win.
HSU (0-5-1) will return to action 4:30 p.m. Saturday at LeTourneau.
