Box Score BELTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team fell 3-0 playing at Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday night in American Southwest Conference action.
Patrick Roach scored in the 19th minute to get the Cru lead. Ethan Dacaret scored from a Nick Villanueva assist in the 21st and Roach finished the scoring in the 36th with his second goal, making it a 3-0 Cru win.
The Cowboys had nine shots with three on goal while UMHB took ten shots and five on frame. HSU led with three corners to two.
Reid Applewhite started the game for HSU and went 66 minutes. Trent Ivy also played for the Cowboys with a save. Dalton Lloyd started in goal for UMHB with three saves in the win.
The Cowboys fall to 6-6-2 and 5-2-2 in the conference while UMHB moves to 11-3 and 9-0 in the ASC. The Cowboys finish the regular season against the other Abilene team on the southside next Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
