CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team tied the Ozarks Eagles in a scoreless game through 110 minutes of time in American Southwest Conference action on Saturday.

The energy was high throughout the contest between the Cowboys and the reigning ASC Champion Eagles. Neither team gained an edge on the scoreboard after two overtime periods and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.

The Cowboys had 23 shots in the game and put six on goal while Ozarks took 15 shots and landed eight on the frame. Both keepers had outstanding performances, Reid Applewhite with eight saves for HSU and Caleb Anderson starting for Ozarks with six saves in full time.

The Cowboys are now 4-4-2 and 3-0-2 in the ASC. Ozarks moves to 6-4-1 and 3-2-1 in the conference. The Cowboy soccer team will return home to play Sul Ross State in Thursday night at the HSU Soccer Complex with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
