ROUND ROCK, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team fell 1-0 in American Southwest Conference play to the Concordia Texas Tornados on Friday night.

The Tornados got the goal that would decide the 1-0 victory in the ninth minute by Xavier Polk, assisted by Zack Kusack.

The Cowboys out-shot the Tornados 13-6 and led with six corners to three for Concordia.

Reid Applewhite had the loss in goal for the Cowboys with a save. The Tornados started Joshua Redding who had five saves at keeper in the win.

The Cowboys fall to 5-4 and 4-1 in ASC play. Concordia improves to 4-1 and 3-0 in the conference. The Cowboys will return to Abilene to host Sul Ross on Saturday March 20 starting at 7:30 p.m.
