Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team fell 2-1 to the Trinity Tigers on Friday night in San Antonio.
The Cowboys struck first with a goal from Austin Wills in the 41st minute. Trinity would answer right before half in the 45th minute with a goal from Michael Meese assisted by Brady Johnston.
The Tigers took the lead un the 62nd minute off the foot of Michael Somerville assisted by Meese to go on to win 2-1 on Friday night.
Trinity shot 26 times with ten on frame while the Cowboys had ten shots and three on goal. The Tigers led with eight corner kicks to the Cowboy three.
Reid Applewhite started in goal for HSU and had eight saves in the loss. Juan Carlos Vidales played keeper for Trinity and had two saves in the win.
The Cowboys move to 0-3 and will play at Southwestern in Georgetown on Sunday at 7 p.m.
