In his first season on the HSU cross country team. He came to HSU as a basketball player and played two seasons. He ran track last spring. High School: Was a two-time first-team all-district selection in basketball at Burnet High School. Was the team's MVP as a junior and the defensive player of the year as a senior. Qualified for regionals in track and cross country. Personal: Son of Tim and Darlene Denton. Has two sisters, Rachel and Autumn. Journalism major. Born May 18, 1990.
