REDLANDS, Calif. - Hardin-Simmons' women's
soccer team had its season as they tied Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 0-0,
but lost (5-4) in penalty kicks in the first round of the NCAA
Tournament Saturday night in Redlands, Calif.
CMS outshot the Cowgirls 28-7 in the game but All-American
goalkeeper Christi Carr kept them off the board with 12 saves. The
game went to penalty kicks, which HSU has won three times on in the
last two years in the NCAAs.
HSU ended its season with a record of 15-3-4. More information
