ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team improved to 4-1 on the year with a 7-2 win over Austin College on Saturday morning at the Streich Tennis Center.
Lauren Jay, Morgan Rainer, Genene Haddad and Kelsi Jackson won at No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 singles respectively for the Cowgirls.
HSU also had a perfect weekend in doubles. Jay and Haddad, Rainer and Jackson and Tram Le and Amelia Chaney teamed for the doubles' wins.
The Cowgirls are now 4-1 on the year with the only loss coming to Sam Houston State and will next be in action on March 3 against Incarnate Word.
