Box Score AUSTIN, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team pitched its seventh straight shutout in a 3-0 win over Concordia in American Southwest Conference action on Sunday afternoon in Austin.
Karissa Olson scored a pair of goals for the Cowgirls. She put HSU ahead in the 30th minute and added a second goal in the 42 minute.
Freshman Kami Jones scored her first career goal in the 64th minute. She fired in a rebound off her previous shot.
The Cowgirls outshot the Tornados 12-7 in the game and 7-4 on goal. HSU had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Lexi Stinson and Abby Blunt each had a shutout half for the Cowgirls in goal and each had two saves.
HSU is now 9-1 on the year and 3-0 in conference play. Concordia fell to 5-3-3 and 2-2-1 in ASC play. HSU will host LeTourneau and Texas-Tyler next weekend.
