Box Score THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team win moved to 2-0 on the year with a 2-0 win over California Lutheran on Friday night in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Jordan Lara put the Cowgirls on the board in the 12th minute off an assist from Katie Haltiwanger.
Haltiwanger picked up her second assist of the game in the 61st when she found Julianne Kucera for a goal.
HSU outshot CLU 7-4 on goal, but the Regals had a 12-11 advantage in overall shots.
The Cowgirls split the game in goal with Lexi Stinson playing the first half with one save and Abby Blunt played the second half with three saves.
The Cowgirls will play Chapman on Sunday at 1 p.m. and CLU fell to 1-1-1 on the year.
