HSU will host the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament this weekend. The other three quarterfinal matches will be played this evening. The Cowgirls are the No. 2 seed, but are hosting the tournament because UT-Tyler's men and women are the No. 1 seed and in odd number years the men get the right to host if one school has both teams as the No. 1 seed. The tournament then goes to the No. 2 seed for the women.
