Box Score ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team scored in double figures for the second straight day with a 10-0 win over Belhaven on Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.
HSU scored three goals in the first eight minutes and led 7-0 at halftime.
Sarah Krisa started the scoring with a goal in the sixth minute, Kiersten Parrish and
Kami Jones added goals in each of the next two minutes.
Kenne Kessler then scored a pair of goals :40 apart to make it 5-0. Jones added her second at 34:59 and
Jacqueline Thorman scored in the 38
th minute.
Kessler added a goal in the 48
th minute,
Jordan Lara scored her seventh of the second in the 63
rd minute and Thorman scored again in the 81
st minute.
The Cowgirls outshot Belhaven 30-9 overall and 22-4 on goal.
Lexi Stinson started in goal,
Casey Carrillo and
Caitlin Christiansen each played as well for the Cowgirls.
HSU is now 6-2-1 overall and Belhaven fell to 1-5-1 overall.
The Cowgirls play at Howard Payne on Thursday.
