Box Score SHERMAN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team picked up a 5-0 win at Austin College on Tuesday afternoon in Sherman.
The Cowgirls scored three times over a 12 minute stretch in the middle of the first half to take control of the game. Kami Jones scored in the 24th minute unassisted and Sarah Krisa scored in the 29th minute to make it 2-0. Jordan Lara added an unassisted goal in the 36th minute.
HSU dominated the run of play outshooting AC 26-7 and 14-3 on goal.
Jones added her second goal of the game in the 55th minute and Taylor Bernal added a tally in the 84th minute.
Lexi Stinson and Casey Carrillo split the game in goal for the Cowgirls.

- Jones two goals were her first multi-goal effort of her career.
- Bernal and Krisa each scored their first career goal.
- Lara now has 12 career goals.
- HSU has won eight straight against their former ASC rival and lead the series 16-1-2.
