MARSHALL, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team received a hat trick from Kami Jones and beat East Texas Baptist 4-0 to finish an undefeated run through the American Southwest Conference on Saturday evening in Marshall.

Jones scored three times in the first half. She scored first in the 13^th minute off an assist from Josey Meyer. Scored in the 20^th minute off a feed from Kendell Groom and in the 24^th minute from Taylor Bernal.

Jones now has 22 goals on the season and joins Amy Kuykendall as the only Cowgirls to have a pair of 20-goal seasons.

Haylee Foster added the fourth goal unassisted in the 75^th minute.

HSU outshot the Tigers 19-4 in the game and 8-2 on target. Caitlin Christiansen had two saves in the shutout in goal.

The Cowgirls have won 16 in a row to improve to 16-1 and finished ASC play 11-0. ETBU fell to 6-7-4 overall and 4-5-2 in league play. HSU will host LeTourneau in the first round of the American Southwest Conference Tournament on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
