ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team moved to 14-0 on the year with a 7-0 win over Concordia in American Southwest Conference action at the HSU Soccer Complex.
Josey Meyer scored her first goal of the year in the 22nd minute when she scored off an assist from Kenne Kessler. In the 29th minute, Kessler scored her 26th goal of the year when she beat her defender inside and fired past the keeper.
It stayed 2-0 until the 53rd minute when Morgan McAdams scored her first goal of the year. HSU scored three goals in 3:10 with Rachel Bean, Michaela Sabrsula and Elly Green all scoring.
Haley Bush added a goal in the 87th minute to cap the scoring.
HSU played all four goalkeepers in the game and outshot the Tornados 26-5 in the contest.
The Cowgirls are 10-0 in conference play and will play Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the regular-season ASC title. Concordia is now 8-6 overall and 4-6 in ASC play.
