ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Dallas Baptist on Saturday morning at the Streich Tennis Center.

The match was played using the Division II scoring rules that gives just one point for winning doubles. Sabra Zullo and Emily Shaffer defeated Adriana Carpenter and Ira Vogelmann at No. 2 doubles, but DBU won the other two matches to win the doubles point.

Kyra Mobley was the only Cowgirl to push her singles match to a third set tiebreaker, falling 2-6, 6-1, 10-8.  

HSU is off until next Saturday when it hosts George Fox and Southwestern.
