GEORGETOWN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team rallied for a 6-3 win over Concordia in American Southwest Conference action played at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
The Cowgirls trailed 2-1 after doubles. Kyra Mobley and Abigail Kendall picked up the Cowgirls only win at No. 1 doubles.
HSU won the dual by winning five of six singles matches. Kendall, Mobley, Sabra Zullo, Emily Shaffer and Jordan Shepley won at No. 2 thru No. 6 singles.
HSU is now 6-11 overall and 4-1 in league play. Concordia fell to 6-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play. HSU will host McMurry at 2 p.m. to end the regular season on Tuesday. The two teams are tied for second place in the ASC.
